Note | Orlando Underwood 1855-1924Orlando Underwood was born at Bristol, Gloucestershire, on 19 December 1855 (although his birth was registered early in 1856). His parents were George William Underwood born at Atworth, Wiltshire in 1819, and Matilda Curtis, born at Bath, Somerset, in 1835, who married at Dursley in 1851 after the death of George's first wife in 1850. Orlando Underwood married Emma Jane Lusty at St James Church, Dursley in 1881 and they had four daughters who were all born at Pancras, London:
London Florists At the time of the 1891 UK Census three brothers who were all in their thirties were working as florists in London. George Thomas Underwood and Orlando Underwood were living next door to one another in St Pancras High Street, and John Henry Underwood was living in Holloway Road, Islington.
